Eve Smith

Eve SmithI am currently completing the final year of my Masters in Biochemistry at Oxford. The year includes an 18-week project which I am currently completing in the Castello lab. My project involves studying global changes occurring in the RNA-bound proteome of mammalian cells during Vaccinia virus infection. Working with the novel technique ‘RNA interactome capture’ has been fascinating and I have developed a number of other techniques including immunofluorescence. The Castello lab is a dynamic and enthusiastic team with whom I have thoroughly enjoyed working with.
